Seven Fields Borough
Seven Fields Borough is located in the southern region of Butler County, nestled between Cranberry Township and Adams Township. Commuting to Pittsburgh is only a 25 minute drive from Seven Fields Borough with quick and easy access to Interstate 79. Route 228 runs through the borough and the PA Turnpike (Interstate 76) is also nearby.
The land that makes up Seven Fields Borough originally consisted entirely of farm land owned by the Speer/Schenk family, but was sold for development in the 1970’s. The Borough was made independent from Cranberry Township and was officially incorporated in 1983.
Today, over 2,800 residents call Seven Fields home. This suburban area has been quickly growing, and the borough has gained over 1,000 residents over the past decade alone. There are several housing plans in the area including Brandywine Commons, Castle Creek, Hillvue Forest, and Hawthorne Commons. The borough boasts two parks, the Seven Fields Municipal Park and the Seven Fields Town Park as well as the Seven Fields Nature Preserve. You can find a variety of businesses in Seven Fields, including but not limited to: Giant Eagle, Double Wide Grill, UPMC Home Healthcare, Hine’s Ward’s Tavern 86, and the US Social Security Administration, to name a few.
